Over 50s Martial Arts
Our Over 50’s classes have a special focus on people who have retired from work, but definitely, do not want to be retired from life.
As we age, exercise becomes increasingly important to keep our bodies functional and our minds sharp. Retirement also presents a new set of challenges to us as we exit from the workforce. Loss of social connections, inactivity and a loss of mental challenges can take all a toll on our bodies.
The right type of exercise that enhances health as we age is important. The classes are for those who need a physical activity that will be kind to the body and joints, keep the mind sharp, while enhancing health without causing injuries.
Our over 50's classes are the perfect way to exercise in a friendly, co-operative and social environment. What is great too is that you don't have to get involved in that whole impersonal gym/ cardio exercise scene with noisy music, loud instructors, and trim, fit bodies all around.
Our unique and gentle form of exercise enhances mobility, improves fitness, strengthens the core, and keeps the joints moving!
No martial arts experience is needed!
